A very pleasant surprise. A quick bite to eat before the concert to get in the mood. The initial impression wasn't great; the ambiance, as is typical for a concert hall, is reminiscent of bygone days. But then came the surprise: very friendly and attentive service and a delicious meal. Good, traditional fare, excellent quality, and fair prices. A definite recommendation and a big thank you for the hospitality. I'd gladly come again.
The food was delicious, and the owners are incredibly warm and friendly. We celebrated a birthday there. Dogs are allowed, which is a big plus. We had the salad with Maultaschen (Swabian ravioli) and the schnitzel. Prices are fair. You can park at the Liederhalle (concert hall), but be warned, parking fees are very, very expensive...
It was so lovely here. The service was very, very funny. The food was fantastically delicious.
If you're looking for a cozy atmosphere, this isn't the place for you. It's quite cramped. Our table wasn't nice, right up against the wall and very uncomfortable. We also weren't shown the additional daily special; I only found out about it by chance after ordering. A real shame. The price for the food is reasonable. I had the cordon bleu, which was cooked in clarified butter and was really good. The salad was lacking in dressing; there simply wasn't enough. My husband had the Maultasche (Swabian ravioli) with a meatball, which I found had too much gravy. However, he enjoyed it.
