What a lucky little find! Who knew that such an inconspicuous corner could hold such a gem?! Nice, clean, rustic, wooden interior. Tall stools at tall tables (not great if you've children in buggies) - more of a cool, hangout spot for lunch than a sit down meal... Nice view of the square if you sat up at the windows looking out...The kitchen was opened out to the eatery, so we could see exactly what was being cooked, how and by whom... ( a cute chef, as it happened!). We got to choose from a simple but enticing menu. Fresh, proper meat burgers... Then came all the toppings you could manage! The buns were toasted, the toppings more than plentiful, very tasty; the home-made relish was absolutely delicious... No way any normal person could get it all in their mouth, though!! We asked for lots more napkins! Service was friendly and familiar; relaxed. I loved the chalk board idea where you got to scribble comments and reviews on the wall! A very novel idea! :-)Would I visit again? Yup! Definitely! Would I change anything? Maybe... just one table with lower seating. Any complaints? Nope!
