You even have to eat there once to get to know the landlord, Mario. The cuisine is at the highest level. The air is clean because Hummelgraben is located in a green part of Zuffenhausen. The waitress yelled at us in an inappropriate tone, telling us to sit down so she could bring the food (all à la carte). That's not how you speak to guests – especially not at a party. You certainly don't expect that on a special day with family and guests. The manager was extremely rude. When one of our group politely asked him for an espresso, since he was serving us, he reacted loudly and in a totally unfriendly manner, saying we should ask the waitress, not him. Such disrespectful treatment of guests is simply unacceptable – especially when you're hosting a large party and spending a lot of money there. Another point I don't like: They charged a cover charge of €3.80 per person – even for children under 4, who didn't take a plate or a piece of cake. This is not only inappropriate, but simply seems greedy. I'm very disappointed—especially because it was actually a special day for me. I definitely won't be coming back.
