Recently opened many Japanese restaurants in stuttgart. some of them are in luxurious location in the city. not so hiro. if they don't know, it could easily be overlooked, a tiny, humble local in a quiet neighborhood at the city border. but here stops the instruction. the plates are luxurious and the recipes are special. the friendliness exactly what they expect from the best Far Eastern tradition. the attention to the details is where the people in hiro’s excellent: I never tasted such a good udon and never tasted such a good rice.
Feel comfortable, attentive and very friendly staff. food selection is more than sufficient. delicious! small and cozy atmosphere ensure that they make early reservations. this place reminded me of the time in japan. authentic! will return!
Celebrate a birthday here. the Japanese food was, as usual, authentic and high quality. the service was very friendly and prompt. great place for couples or family eating.
An excellent place for sushi lovers. small and cozy with fresh food. great staff and very good service.
In my opinion, the city has more interesting and surprising Japanese restaurants by a much better price. We ordered a mixed plate for 2, which was not enough. We ordered additional 8 pieces of the special roll, 6 pieces of salmon skin roll and other...5 pieces of a fried sushi. None of them was awesome or surprising. Just one more sushi. So, I will for sure not come back.

We were here for the first time and positively surprised. The store is very small but you feel comfortable and the service is super nice. It is very authentic Japanese and the sushi was delicious. The good quality of food has been tasted out. 1 star trigger because we had as an appetizer Tori Karaage and the portion was very small and not justify 8€.
Very big recommendation: best sushi in Stuttgart West! Not only because quality of fish and taste are excellent also because the staff is enormously nice, polite and courteous.
The Aubergine with Miso was the hammer and the sushi anyway. Everything even cheaper than I expected. Very recommended!

I was excited to try this place as it is near my house, but there is better sushi available in Stuttgart (Sushi Ya is my top choice! . A quick summary: Nice atmosphere but distracted service. I watched my beers sit on the counter for several minutes before they were brought over, I ordered 2 Gyoza and only got one, etc. the Gyoza were very good and the dipping sauce nice. The sushi itself was one-note. Spicy tuna not spicy and the rice a bit over cooked, missing that sexy pop of well done sushi rice. In addition something weird was happening with the soy sauce--it was either watered down or sugar added. It was bland and odd. Overall, it was fresh but bland and all just went to mush in my mouth. I might return if a group was going but for sushi I am making the trip downtown for Sushi Ya.
I got the Hikkakabashi, which at 33 euros seems expensive, but the variety and quality of sushi presented made it well worth it. This place is cozy and quality. What you need out of a great favorite spot.
This restaurant is small but cozy, in the middle of nowhere but he cooks, server and waitress are very kind, smiling and charming. The carte is very complete with lots of choices of sushi but also varieties of other dishes. I highly recommend the teriyaki chicken whose skin was crispy and delicious, the tataki beef sushi rolls as well as the creative crispy rolls. If they have miso aubergine (egg plant) take it !!! Desserts include delicious mochi and black sesame ice ! Everything you expect from a good Japanese restaurant !!
Terrible, rude customer service experience. We showed up 30 minutes after opening time on a Saturday night with our 2 kids and was refused service. We were told that since we didn't have a reservation, they couldn't serve us. However, ONLY 1 table in the entire restaurant had a guest at it! My wife, who is German, pointed out this fact to the host to which he responded with a shoulder shrug. We assumed that they didn't want more kids in the restaurant as the only other patron was a family with 2 kids also. I understand this is Germany, but wow. Don't think I'll ever be going back there.

French cuisine with a Japanese touch. Le Bouquet is the new French bistro run by the owners of Hiro in the same space. I came across this spot on Instagram and was excited about a place that touted natural wines. Then I realized it was the re-vamped Hiro quickly boomed ourselves a reservation. Set menu is €68/person for 3 courses. It was more spendy than we expected, but quality really met price here. It says they offer a la carte, but items are not individually priced, aside from the wine snacks. We loved our menu selections and definitely look forward to trying other creations. Impressive menu of fish, meats fresh vegetables Beautiful presentation of the meals
