African food prepared with love. Clean, well maintained restaurant. Very warm owner, very friendly staff. I like to go back and support Ebony right now in the lockdown. View all feedback.
What Gesa Weis doesn't like about Ebony:
an African restaurant in the middle of the west!? I don't complain for a second. the service was great, eating was great, and the experience was great all around. I can't ask for anything. Okay, I lived in Africa for almost six years. Maybe I need to remember that when I tell them that spicy is okay. next time I'm just gonna heat them a little. or as the gf of my kumpels always says: "pour some fire on it" View all feedback.
Ebony gave me my first taste of African/Eriterian food thanks to the recommendation of my colleague. first of all I really loved the ambiente, which was little hip and little cozy with many artistic touches. Now when I came to eat, I was really taken away from the homely taste of eating. the starter was great and the main dish was even better (also too much quantity) they had even samosa (we also have in india the same.) also, injera, the main part of the plate is very similar to the Indian food dosa. it is as if we share a bond with Africa by food. we're all the same.
Very recommended, eating is sooo delicious, exactly our taste! the service is very attentive and fast, portion sizes are quite large. we liked, above all, the Tibetan sculptures on the wall creative alternative and art! it is worth visiting a second time:

On Sunday afternoon there. due to the early late time of my visit, the restaurant was almost empty. regarding the food I went for the plate ebony with a price of 17.90 eur, it was delicious and the staff was very friendly and attentive.
Living in Seattle where Ethiopian food is common, Ebony was the perfect place to satisfy my African food craving. Pictured below is the lamb kilwa which was delicious! The servers were extremely friendly and as someone who doesn’t speak German, I appreciated the fact that they have an English menu. If you’re looking to try something new, you can’t go wrong with Ebony!
