Was Viola Richter at Apostel a mag?
This is the 4th time I dined at this restaurant. It seems to be visited by local regular customers. Considering the taste and portions, I wonder why the restaurant is not visited by many customers. Every dish I ordered tasted great! It's just around the corner of Mecure Hotel Stuttgart City. If you stay at the hotel, maybe you would want to check this place out. View all feedback.

This is a small, typical German restaurant. Started with a beer, which is always good in Germany. Then had the salad bar which was small but excellent. Fell salat and german potato salad is exactly what I wanted. For my meal, I had the wiener schnitzel and side of spaetzle. Overall, the meal was very good and the people i were with were equally satisfied with their meals. I will most definitely eat here again.

Must try for anyone who stays in the heart of Stuttgart and wants to try Swabian (German) food. Small place but a very friendly atmosphere. The locals might look a little grumpy but are very nice and helpful if you have a question or need a recommendation. It's not a modern or fancy place but has this local rustic charm to it. Try any of the local dishes - I love the spaetzle (and pork medaillons) and the local apple wine. As appetizer, i recommend the Maultaschensuppe. Its a little of the grid and parking might be difficult to find but its worth the trip.Look for the Mercure Hotel and the gas station next to it and you almost found it.

The little German style restaurant is awesome. While the folks running it are not German, the food is good and the service is spectacular. As this is Swabia, they are not welcoming to foreigners running a traditional German restaurant. Try this place it is a good value and the Germans that do show up are friendly.Bonus: they have outdoor seating!
