The chicken tasted very good. The spaetzle and schnitzel were also very good. The sauces for the schnitzels are made in-house, as is the salad dressing. The restaurant is modern and clean. The staff is very friendly. Really the best restaurant in Büchig. We will be back.

Because of a good Facebook review, we went to the VSV-Büchig club restaurant. When you go to a club restaurant, you expect simple, rustic furniture, inexpensive food and drinks. Since we have never been there before, we cannot judge whether the innkeepers, who have been operating since October 10th, have renovated, but in any case the rooms are clean, bright and friendly. Chairs and tables look new and the chairs were very comfortable. There is also a bar where you can comfortably have a drink. The menu included pizzas, tarte flambée, schnitzel, casseroles (also a vegetarian one , half chicken with and without fries and various salads as well as drinks. (List by memory Everything at moderate prices. The service was quick and friendly. We took the chicken medium spicy with fries. The chicken was quite large, tasty and well seasoned. The medium hot one was already decent in terms of spiciness, the waitress had pointed out that hot meant really hot. The Höpfner Pils poured well in beautiful “tulips”, just the way I like it. We liked it, we will definitely come back and I will try one of the delicious looking casseroles. We wish the new landlords much success, which should actually happen given the general conditions.
