Comins Tea - Sturminster Newton

This charming tea room offers a wide selection of teas and various food options including meat, vegetarian, and vegan dishes. We have visited a few times during our trips to Bath, and most recently brought along our 18-month-old. It is a must-visit spot in Bath, with a warm and inviting atmosphere and delicious food.

Beautiful café and tea shop with so much choice. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, as well as very generous with their time. Very recommended if you are in the area.

The tea at this restaurant is always fantastic, and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Whenever I'm in town, I make sure to stop by. It's one of the few places that truly knows how to brew a good cup of tea.

I had a fantastic experience at Comins Tea. It's clear that the owners are truly passionate about their craft and pay attention to every detail. We stopped by for lunch on a weekday, and while reservations aren't mandatory, they're recommended. The restaurant was pleasantly quiet when we arrived, and we both enjoyed the pork dumplings, Asian salad, daal, and our chosen teas. The food was absolutely delicious, and the tea selection was impressive. For dessert, we tried the matcha green tea lolly, which was not overly sweet but wonderfully creamy. Don't worry if you're unfamiliar with brewing tea, as they provide instructions on how to get the most out of your drink by re-brewing it. It's definitely worth the experience.
