Was Kplant at Vegetable a mag?
I recently visited this restaurant for the first time and tried their special 'burger plant' menu item. I ordered the pineapple teriyaki smashburger with one patty, which was super thin. You can't go wrong with the delicious combination of pineapple and teriyaki flavors. View all feedback.
What Kplant dislikes about Vegetable:
The restaurant known as Vegetable has sublet the place to a takeout fast fried food company. Thing like the wholesome food of Vegetable. Think of comfort takeout food at high prices. Never again. Updated from previous review on 2022-05-20 View all feedback.

If you are in LA this is the right restaurant for you, especially if you are vegan. We had the Double Chocolate Brownie Pineapple Teriyaki Cheeseburger Vegan Mac Cheese Bourbon BBQ Western Cheeseburger Criss Cut Waffle Potato Fries andeverything was delicious. (don't judge, we were hungry ???? Thank you for the delicious food, we would love to come back.
I stumbled on this place going to SunCafe. I’ll tell you this, SunCafe will no longer be my frequent flier. This place is legit and so damn tasty. Tomato Soup. Outstanding. Sriracha Sweet Potatoes. Incredible. Mac and Cheese. Damn Tasty. FreshOrange Juice. Perfect. Server was very helpful and friendly.
This place was one of the best all vegetarian restaurants I have ever been too. There was such great food and everything tasted great. I ordered the Cream of Broccoli soup. I thought that it was delicious and not to heavy. We also ordered a side ofbroiled brussel sprouts that were carmelized perfectly. For a main dish we ordered a cauliflower dish and a dish with this breadthing that was also really good. For dessert we ordered the sweet potato pie in a jar with a coconut whipped cream. The desserttasted like Christmas in a jar. ???????? ???????? ???????? ????????
Were visiting area for a show and decided to stop by at this location, only bcs we were traveling w/ a friend who is vegetarian. I felt lost since I am a meat eater *Growl*. But the food choice i made was tasty!!! Yet Simple, but good. I would def returnagain, it wold be my snack to go place, something to munch on before actual dinner. I had the Grill chees sandwich w a cup oftomatoe soup. But after this dinner, i felt i had eaten like 4 plates, i felt full. Here are some pics of the other plate.
The restaurant has a lovely rustic feel to it, with hewn wooden tables, a long communal table and several booths and high tops. I got there 30 minutes before the end of lunch service and was greeted by a friendly young lady who promptly seated me,have me a menu and some water. She explained the menu, daily specials and then gave me some time to look it all over. I wentwith the lunch special which is $20 and includes a soup, and two dishes. The butternut squash soup was exquisite. It had abeautiful texture and a hearty depth to it that had an earthy flavor. Not too sweet and nicely balanced. The skillet was nice, wth a fried egg on top, but I felt it lacked flavor. The fingerling potatoes were very substantial, and had a nice mix ofslightly burnt and just right potatoes smothered with a cashew cheese and coconut cream. The combo was much too much food for meand unfortunately you can't share it, but if you've got a healthy appetite it should be just right! I'll come back to try acouple of other items, but I like the ambience and the service, si definitely a winner. If you like the review, please leave mea thumbs up to let me know... ????

I am disappointed to say that during the pandemic, this restaurant has shifted towards being more like just another vegan burger place. I miss their usual menu with a focus on vegetables and hope it returns soon. However, we did try a couple of non-burger items that were delicious: the kale salad (amazing!) and the grilled cheese with tomato soup (my friend really enjoyed it). They also offer gluten-free options for most items on the menu.

The food is too bland for me, and I am not crazy about ordering a bunch of little plates and hoping we ordered enough. The waiter was friendly and helpful. It is strange that a moderately expensive restaurant does not serve alcohol.
We finally stopped into Vegetable as we had a Blackboard Eats discount code and wish we'd come sooner. The décor has definitely changed since Sun Café, but it was very nice and cool. The service was lovely as well, especially since we indicated that we were in a hurry. The menu is almost all vegan. It's disappointing that there are any non-vegan items at all as it's so few and they come with vegan optional anyways. Please go all vegan! We ordered the ceviche, mac and cheese, truffle risotto and parfait. They were all excellent, particularly the mac and cheese. We definitely plan on going again soon.

We visited the restaurant on Mother's Day. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Although we wished for more variety in the food options, we still enjoyed our meals. It appears that there is a new chef. We opted to dine outside, but felt a bit uneasy due to some odd individuals walking around. Next time, we will likely opt to dine indoors instead.

I recently dined at this vegetarian restaurant and I have to say it was one of the best I've ever been to. The food was fantastic and everything tasted amazing. I particularly enjoyed the Cream of Broccoli soup - it was delicious and not too heavy. We also ordered a side of broiled brussels sprouts that were perfectly caramelized. For our main dishes, we had a cauliflower dish and a bread dish that were both excellent. For dessert, we couldn't resist trying the sweet potato pie in a jar with coconut whipped cream - it was like Christmas in a jar. Overall, a wonderful dining experience.
The restaurant is overpriced given the average quality of the food. The burgers were mediocre and nothing memorable. I brought my son and daughter to celebrate her birthday, and we both ordered milkshakes, which sadly made us feel unwell.
The restaurant is currently only accepting takeout orders, but this update has not been reflected on their Google listing. A sign on the door informed customers of this policy. Inside, the staff member was solely focused on takeout orders and offered minimal assistance.

Motherâs Day. The waitress was extremely sweet and helpful. The food choices could be better (miss the old menu), but we enjoyed what we had. Doesnât seem like the same chef, overall. We sat outside and there were strange people walking around the area and it made it a little awkward. Would probably eat indoors next time.

I recently visited this restaurant and it was hands down one of the best vegetarian places I have ever dined at. The food was incredible and every dish was bursting with flavor. I started off with the Cream of Broccoli soup, which was delicious and not too heavy. We also ordered a side of brussels sprouts that were perfectly caramelized. For our main dishes, we tried the cauliflower dish and a bread dish that were both fantastic. To top it all off, we indulged in the sweet potato pie in a jar with coconut whipped cream for dessert - it tasted like Christmas in a jar. Overall, a truly delightful dining experience.

Best food I have had in a few years. Gluten free and vegan diets will find heaven here. Incredible experience.

This restaurant is a must-visit for vegetarians (and even non-vegetarians). I make sure to dine here at least once every time I'm in town. The mac and cheese, as well as all the house-made breads, are top-notch. I highly recommend trying everything on the menu. Overall, I would give this restaurant a rating of 10/10.
If you find yourself in Los Angeles, this is the perfect restaurant for you, especially if you are vegan. We ordered a variety of menu items including the Double Chocolate Brownie, Pineapple Teriyaki Cheeseburger, Vegan Mac and Cheese, Bourbon BBQ Western Cheeseburger, and Criss Cut Waffle Potato Fries, and everything was incredibly delicious. Please don't judge us, we were just really hungry! Thank you for the fantastic food, we will definitely be coming back.
