What User doesn't like about Hugo's Studio City:
bland describes the entire experience quite. three entrees: chicken club, potted and roasted chicken with artichoke, all quite tasteless. Hugos was a pleasure to brew. the only thing I could change is that while it is clear on a health-conscious amount that has eat this light quality of “healthy” when they know what I mean. it's really good, but I've made healthy eating that they never believe is good for them and for at least what I've chosen, I was pretty aware that it was a healthy choice with every bite. that is said I would still go there absolutely and try something else. it is entirely possible that I have just chosen something that is not entirely satisfactory to my palate. everything looked beautiful. the personal was great.
My son and I have met for lunch at Hugo's Studio City over many years because we enjoy the experience and food. Thank you.
The quality of the food has deteriorated. Service is fairly poor; always had to search for the waitress. The place was quite noisy. It was cold inside — they should have used some heating. Parking is always a problem — they have a very tiny parking lot and street parking is scarce.
Hugo's is always a pleasure to eat at as it has a diverse menu to chose from and an exceptional wait staff. Our server was Grady and he exemplified perfect customer service. Prompt with the orders and his checking back was appreciated and not intrusive. Tere were some special gal preps we rented and the kitchen came through on each one. All in all a great time and we will be back. It was great to have our Open Table reservation for 10:30am because it was a madhouse when we showed up but we were seated right away. I think others were going WTF. Hopefully someone clued them in to Open Table.
Food was amazing. An amazing and big menu of all plant based meals. Service a little slow that day because of a big crowd but staff was very nice and accommodating. Would go back again.
