Weekend lunch. Looked a bit dark from the outside but inside was nice with a friendly atmosphere. You order from a space behind the bar. A good choice but nothing startling although it covered all bases. Fish, burgers, meat dishes, some vegetarian options. Boringly we both has=d the same, grilled barramundi with salad and chips. Well the food was lovely and the portions were very good. Salad fresh and clean tasting.... View all feedback.

I can only assume we went on an off night as other reviews are ok. We went for dinner last week and I ordered rack of lamb and my hubby ordered lasagne. Both dishes came out frozen in the middle!!! Meals were taken back to the kitchen and came back 10 minutes later hot, but still with original vegetables on the plate which were a little worse for wear.I am afraid we will not be back! Back in Coffs Harbour we commented the price would be double and the size halved! The place was very clean, there was no pub smell and there was even a kids playarea. Very pleased, the looks belied the inside. Great country food in the country.
Suggest you reduce menu to half a dozen items that you can do really well instead of a whole mess of confusing choices of poor and disappointing quality
Pleasantly surprised at the standard of fare and the friendly service. New management aimed to please. Pan-fried black fish was first class and wine list provided enough variety for a small concern. Investment in a few pepper grinders wouldn't go amiss.
Called into catch up with a friend and had the Chicken Snitzel chips and salad. Wow couldn't get through it all. Salad was YUMMY
Service with a smile maybe a cliche but it is still found here. The meals are hearty and great value. Warming in winter with a fire to take the chill away. We stopped in late just 5 mins before the bistro was to close but they accommodated our order without hesitation. Good country pub.
