Reviews - Pickle Ash
Reviews summary
Nestled in SW Virginia, this stylish restaurant pairs high-end service and thoughtful cocktails with fresh, often inventive dishes ideal for celebrations. The dining room is beautifully appointed with patio seating and dog-friendly accommodations; staff are usually attentive and knowledgeable, enhancing memorable evenings. While many praise desserts and signature small plates, mains can be inconsistent and sweeter preparations may not suit all tastes. Higher-priced but recommended for special occasions; reservations advised. Accessibility, family-friendly features and wheelchair access add to its appeal.

What Edie Ott dislikes about Pickle Ash:
The restaurant was closed despite their website stating they should be open. This is the third time this has happened. Honestly, it might be for the best—I recalled that they tend to use a lot of sugar in their dishes. Additionally, some of the waitstaff can be quite bothersome and intrusive. I really wish there was a nice place to eat in this area! Vegetarian options: Not accommodating. Service: Dine-in. Food rating... View all feedback.

I had an excellent turkey Reuben with the house-made sauce. The waitstaff was friendly, and even on a chilly day, they allowed us to sit on the patio with our dog!
Kid-friendliness: They offer high chairs and are very accommodating for children, with a kids' menu available upon request. Wheelchair accessibility: Fully accessible for wheelchairs, with a level entry.
This is the best restaurant I've ever visited! The food is fantastic, and the service is even more impressive!
Food and drinks were surprisingly good.Google maps directed us through a neighboring church parking lot to get there. The church had a sign that warned about the road to the restaurant leading to hell. Happy to say, it lied.
