had grilled fish chips and a pork bone from the virgin to lunch during the week. I couldn't see why they have all the good reviews. chips were soggy. a little fish was very nice, but the other was almost gone. the counter didn't know what to calculate for the pig and said no cost, but calculated $3.00 some wise. not for me and will not return. I've had food a few times here, the chips never disappoint! If your really hungry I would recommend getting a burger, they are super filling and will definitely satisfy your hunger. if your looking for a great fast meal the chook shed is the place to go! I always satisfied with the food i get!
Probably have quarter chicken and chips,with gravy,3 times a month, consistently great,pity they close early 7pm, as would be good if it was open later

The BBQ chickens were ok. I was expecting more flavour from the chicken but overall it was ok. Service was good.
I don't know what these guys put on their chips but it works!!! It's yum, yum, yum. Tried a chicken burger with avo and a bbq quarter chicken with chips. All good. A local chicken place which will never lose itself in the many fish and chips joints in Darwin!
