What User doesn't like about The Patchwork Mouse Art Cafe:
We had read about the Patchwork Mouse, so we were anxious to see what this mess was all about. Although the menu still has this name at the top, the coffee now seems to be a new owner and has a different name, but it still shows Tripadvisor reviews for a long time. Is this allowed? The cakes look great, but the range is limited. My semi-denated cappuccino (without undamaged milk available) was delicious but almost wi... View all feedback.
This coffee has 5 stars in anticipation of our next visit. Looking somewhere for lunch, we came in and found out that although the coffee and cake were certainly on the menu, and those cakes certainly looked wonderful, lunch was not available. However, Gemma (or Jemma, apologize if I miswrote your name! Not only did he recommend the pub, but he called in advance to say we were on our way. Our most sincere thanks and the promise of enjoying the coffee and cake again instead of lunch!
My husband and I are here on vacation during the week and we find this lovely little coffee jewel. Delicious cakes and excellent coffee and Gemma is the perfect host, what more do you want? This will be our usual pit stop before the day begins:
I feel for small independent places like this in Covid 19 times. It's just a small store, and spacing tables would probably be harmful to the business. As it seems, there is the same number of tables, but the owner has added gel to the hands. When we got here, I wasn't too busy, but they didn't have anywhere inside that could sit us 4 and a dog. They have a small square of garden in the back where we sit. We're so glad that the store started filling up pretty fast. The owner was charming and friendly and talkative. They also serve great coffee. However, it was not a safe place to be in with Covid 19. Definitely without social distance.I was trying to get back from the bathroom and couldn't get through 2 tables without asking people who were sitting to move. It's a shame.
This restaurant is fantastic! The service is top-notch and it's even better that they are dog-friendly. I highly recommend trying the cakes as well.
On a walk along the Cotswold Way. Found this lovely cafe with comfy seating. Resident dog is very friendly and has good manners even when cake is present. You have to try the cakes!
