The Breakfast Spot - Strip District

This place really needs to have a better answering system. If you know the weekends are going to be busy either don't take phone orders or just do better. My husband and I both called several times and our calls were dropped. When my husband finally got through he was put on hold for over 10min and no one ever picked up the phone to take his order so he hung up. I’m just happy we didn’t go to the restaurant because I can’t imagine how poor service would have been.

Picked this place for brunch with two girlfriends. We try to get together every couple months and try somewhere new to us. My daughters joined us today. The food was amazing! I just went with the waitresses (such a doll) secret menu suggestion of French toast strawberry shortcake sliders. Soooo good! Kids French toast and bacon were great for the kiddos! The owner came and chatted and was super nice and appreciative of local business! We will be back!

The food was good but do not get the Kool-aid it's extremely over price they are charging 9 dollars per glass when a package that makes a gallon is only 55¢ highway freaking robbery well it seems the Kool-aid is 4.50 which means I was double charged

Food is Delicious Service was fast and friendly Can't wait to go back.

I went for the first time yesterday and will definitely go back every time I’m in Pgh!! Best breakfast anywhere! The cinnamon pancakes are absolutely delicious, definitely recommend them! Veggie omelete and home fries also great. Everything we had was delicious. Service was excellent, the owner came to our table more than once to make sure everything was good. He was super nice and friendly!! As we were leaving, his grandfather was outside and we talked to him a bit, such a nice guy. Just a great breakfast experience! I am home in Indiana now and missing those cinnamon pancakes. Can’t wait to go back!
