Jack's - Street Southwest, Alabaster

I’m not one to normally leave reviews but here I am in my truck at 6:20 am. I ordered a sausage egg and cheese biscuit, well I got a bacon egg and cheese. Normally no big deal but the amount of grease coming through the wrapper was atrocious. Also I take one bite and the biscuit was like biting into a rock, and the bacon was non existent, except for one little piece. Needless to say I ended up throwing it away. I’ve given this jacks a couple of tries and each time has been downright disappointing. I don’t want a reply saying... sorry email this so and so and we’ll make it right… get it right the 1st or second or even third.

First Arby's and now Jack's, whether this is a limited time item or not, I think yall should really try this out, it's worth it ?Jacks has a fish sandwich now and it has a couple ingredients like the fish of course, lettuce, and what seems to be ranch or tartar sauce because that is most associated with fish when it comes to sauce.Service: Nothing too out of the ordinary, came in expecting to get my food relatively quickly and easy ? There wasn't that many people inside so it was a good time and I find myself at ease when ordering from the menu.Atmosphere/Lobby: Different from a lot of Jack's, the TV seems to be located in an odd location and the bathroom is like on the right side when you first enter (depends on which doors you come through) but for the most part, pretty comfortable.Food: This is a bit better then Arby's when it came to their fish counterpart, was immediately hot when I ate it so I decided to let it cool down but I ordered some fries that go along with the sandwich and then some bacon ranchy fries like sort of a messy fries topped with bacon and ranch, you can add ketchup too for more effect, it is best eaten with a fork or you can eat with your hands.Overall, I kinda forgot this Jacks existed but give it a try! I think every restaurant deserves a good one once in a while. ?

Drive thru- what else can the customer do? 1. I said repeatedly I want a CHEESEBURGER HOLD THE KETCHUP.. I am allergic to ketchup!Jacks reply: we use Jacks sauce so there’s No ketchup on it..CUSTOMER- YOUR SAUCE OF S TOMATO BASEDJACKS: it don’t have no ketchup in it! Don’t put it on the sandwich! Put mustard and everything else in it I arrived home with a partial burger, no cheese, a few onions and one pickle. Ordered a side of green beans. Not in the bag! Nice but dumb!I also purchased one of the new wraps! I selected the ranch, chicken and bacon. First there was no Ranch!!!!! The bacon was hard and greasy, but the chicken was delicious! I pulled out the chicken rather than try to eat a dry greasy, flour tortilla. Here’s my suggestion.. being a personal friend of the Cadell’s who started the original restaurant across from Homewood City Hall… sorry Jack. I’m sure you have rolled over many times over the status of the place you loved! To the owner: you are the bottom line here! You need to train your people! Frankly… if they truly don’t know how to run this place, I say that deer in the headlights look is that they have no idea! Your fault Mr owner. I’m tired paying for food I cannot eat! Thanks!!!
