Love the ambience. But the works are sometimes very grim. My kids wanted to play the foosball, but we were sent out? because they don't want guys to play there.?? View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Strawberry Inn:
The food was average and the service was bad, but the location was really mesmerizing. We packed our food and went to the river bank. The landscape was stunning and was great to click on photos. View all feedback.
Really disappointed with our stay. On the one hand, the customer service is not present, I have tried to change the days of my reservation (they had availability all week), as the days that were booked my stay were the days that the restaurant and the bar were closed (Monday and Tuesday), which was one of the main reasons why we were there. I never got an answer. We arrived on Monday and nobody was there to check us out. There is no cell service, so we couldn't call her to help us with questions about the hotspot that we were accused that it never ended. No leaves on the bed, no one is back to help you. Everything while it's super expensive. SAVE YOUR MONEY and stay in Long Barn. The only reason I gave two stars is because it was clean enough and beds were comfortable.
This place deserves the business, they do a good job with the staff they have. Great food and drinks, the desserts are incredible.

Paid $18.95 for a seriously overcooked burger served with zero condiments. Burger had zero taste and was borderline burnt. Fries that came with were also overcooked. The place has a nice view and friendly staff but that's not enough to overcome the food issues.
Many thanks to Vic, Judith, and Larry for their hospitality at the Strawberry Inn. To sum it up in a word, the Inn is charming! It can?t be easy to be one of the few remaining family-owned accommodations. Our room, #11, faced the South Fork Stanislaus River which was high due to the spring snow melt and we slept to the sounds of the river. Fantastic! The room was very spacious, with 2 very comfortable queen beds, a chair, table, large dresser, an open closet, an air conditioning unit, shower/tub bathroom, coffeemaker, and DirectTV. The only drawback of the room was the bathroom vent, connected to the bathroom light, which was an older model and very noisy. I recommend bringing a night light or you will wake up others in the room if you have to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. No microwave or refrigerator but the nice staff at the restaurant provided ice free of charge. We decided against paying for WiFi which I think is per day per device. Cell reception is non-existent as is the case for most of the Pinecrest area if you have AT&T (I think Verizon customers get better reception). But there are rewards to being disconnected from the Internet. There is a lovely outdoor area with shaded outdoor tables and chairs. Veteran anglers will enjoy fishing the area just below the Inn. This early in the summer season, the restaurant was not open for lunch, dinner, but Mia?s down the road has excellent offerings and Dodge Ridge just opened its bar and grill for the summer. The Strawberry General Store is just across the street. Parking is plentiful and the location is great for enjoying hiking and fishing the Sierras. We enjoyed our stay very much!
