The Seethaler is a Bavarian Restaurant in the center of Straubing, they serve delicious traditional Bavarian Dishes and have a great Service. The outside seating are directly on the center square and have a great view. Love going there for Lunch, when I'm in Straubing.
Das Hotel Seethaler in Straubing gehört leider zur aussterbenden Spezies der Familienhotels mit erstklassigem Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Kein standardisiertes Kettenhotel mit austauschbaren Gesichter, sondern schon am Empfang eine Dame, die ihre Gäste kompetent berät. Hier bekommt man ein sauberes und ruhiges Zimmer mit Bad. Parkplatz im Hof. Ausgezeichnete bayerische Küche im Hotelrestaurant.Das Frühstück nicht gerade luxuriös aber gut. Komme gerne wieder.
Das Hotel Seethaler ist klassisch und zweckmäßig eingerichtet, sauber und sehr zentral gelegen. Frühstück ist ausreichend!
Tolle Auswahl an Speisen, Essen hervorragend, Service freundlich und humorvoll, Preis-Leistung passt.
You don't feel welcome... We were told in an extremely unfriendly manner by the boss around 12 noon that the restaurant wasn't open, only the beer garden. We actually wanted to leave because of the speech, but had to stay because the children were hungry. It took 30 minutes to order, after 40 minutes we finally had drinks. After about an hour of waiting, the food was quite decent, but nothing more. But ok for a beer garden. We didn't get a second drink. Overall, not a very nice experience. I thought about giving it 3 stars because of the decent food. But such treatment of the guest (mind you by the manager of the restaurant) is impossible.
