Reviews - Mulligan's

American, Pub Kitchen, Vegetarian Friendly

Reviews summary

Mulligan's offers a mixed dining experience characterized by a vibrant atmosphere and a menu that reflects the ski-town's high-end prices. While some patrons raved about the friendly and attentive service, particularly at the bar, others faced long waits and disappointing interactions. The food quality generally impressed diners, with standout dishes like the tuna bowl and inventive cocktails, although many noted the steep pricing and additional fees. Despite some inconsistency in service and food delivery, diners appreciate the lively ambiance and generous portions, making Mulligan's a notable choice among the local dining scene, albeit with a few caveats.

For the prices I expected good service, but alas we were handed a very rude waitress. She did the absolute bare minimum for us, not giving us waters or any napkins. She would walk away when talking to her and was just an overall bad waitress. However the food was expensive, but worth the price.

I live nearby part time and give this place another shot every year with my family. Average pub food, now very aggressively priced. A 4% credit card surcharge not included. Good beer selection, but a can was $15 come on, guys. Good ski resort vibes in terms of atmosphere and service no complaints there. If you stick to the pub basics and can go to the bar downstairs, it looks like they have some specials. If you're here with kids, there are better options a short drive away. I've heard that whomever owns the Village now is looking to upgrade the dining options. That would be fantastic. I love Stratton but this has been a weakness for a long time. This pricing on so so food seems to be a classic study in supply and demand as there aren't many dinner options in the Village.

Not cheap, because it's a Ski-town bar.. but other than that it's a great dive bar. They have free wings on occasion. Price per person: $30–50 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

One ignored at the bar for over 25 minutes, took forever my order literally observed my finished order for about 15 minutes, while the bartender ignored it) and after the total hour on food, she got half the order wrong. Like two things I ordered, and she had a completely wrong. Summary: Service suck and food is extremely overpriced $20 for 8 small wings, no sides).

A wonderful find. The drinks are amazing. The food is superb. The deserts are to die for. I am horrible with names, however Kristin is amazing. Happy you are back in Vermont with like minded people, lol.

Food isn't too bad drinks are getting on the expensive side overall but the biggest issue I have with this place is that they actually charge customers a 4% fee for using a credit card. Our bill was just shy of $100 for my wife and I and Im guessing most bills are in that category or more especially for bigger parties. Btw we ordered only 1 entree and 1 appetizer between the two of us and we had 2 drinks each you do the math getting pricey for what it is. Most people don't go out with wads of cash which is what you need for this restaurant not to be charged a fee. I honestly have not seen this practice from a restaurant. I know some places have a minimum amount you have to spend to use one (usually $10 or $20 tops). We frequent Stratton a lot but won't be back here sadly unless they change this policy.

What a fantastic place! We ended up visiting three times because other restaurants weren’t accommodating. The food was delicious! Every waiter and waitress was wonderful. We were a group of 14, and everyone enjoyed their experience. It's exactly what you want in a ski village! I can't wait to go back.

3/19/19 My wife and I had dinner at Mulligan's. Expect resort prices...not cheap for pub food (see pictures of the menu). The wait staff was very friendly. Nice casual restaurant...typical Irish pub. My wife ordered the Vermonter hamburger which she liked a lot. I ordered the Beer Battered Fish Chips which should have been called A Lot of Chips with Some Fish. But it did taste really good.

We came in with a group of 8 with 4 young children at 5:00 pm. Staff did not check on the table and missed one if the main course meals. When notified, it took the staff 45 minutes to prepare the missing dish. The staff was unapologetic and did notmake any efforts to acknowledge the mistake. Unfortunately, would not take my family back while visiting Stratton or recommendfor other groups with young children that are looking for speedy service.

Man I don?t know what happened to Mulligans. Such great nostalgia coming to this place since the 90s but food quality and prices have gotten reallllly bad. The staff is still so good but the chicken parm was freezer burned and tasteless with a hair in itfor good measure. We tried going down to the pub downstairs and I couldn?t believe my bill. 3 beers and a white claw came outto $54 which is absolutely criminal. A $14 white claw!? Come on now! Hopefully they fix things because the location, ambience, and staff is still incredible. As of now, I won?t be back. This post was made after my visit not on the day. Maybe addressyour pricing/quality instead of questioning if I was drinking their.

Absolutely amazing! The sushi is fantastic, and while it's definitely on the pricier side, it’s to be expected since you're at Stratton.
