We ordered steamed eggs, stir-fried pork, and spicy braised short ribs. The side dishes arrived quickly, but the stir-fried pork took quite a bit longer than the other items.

This place deserves no star to begin with. The rudeness and hostility from the incompetent manager is exemplary, and echoed by the quality of the food. The food was not entirely a wow factor, and it's an "F" for freshness. We were poisoned, disappointed and left completely exhausted arguing with an extremely nasty and defensive manager, who was frustrated by his own inequities in spoken English. His nonchalant approach was undesirable. The so-called manager resorted to arm wrestling, scaremongering, and verbal onslaught in an attempt to kick us/shut us out who unfortunately paid for our meals. All these due to our expressed concerns pertaining to consumption of stale produce and white proteins. Disgusted was an understatement, the attitude stench from miles away, giving extreme unpleasant determination of never coming back again. Not surprisingly, the manager felt the customers were to blame for criticising, just because his ego was badly scarred.
Very good food. Enjoyed every bit of it. Very reasonable price. Staffs bit unattentive. You ask for something. It doesn't come to you unless u remind them few times.

The vibe is really, really good. However, I will agree with the other reviews. For the price you pay, you would expect more. The Wagyu is very tender and flavoursome (melt in your mouth), sashimi was fresh, the hot pot was flavourful and perfect to accompany the rice. Tartare beautiful... but the Cheesy Corn was probably my favourite. I will give Butchers Block (round the corner) a go and update the review. Dinner there is approx $50 per head all you can eat.
