If you're looking for a basic breakfast spot with pleasant decor and a varied menu, Features might disappoint with its overpriced dishes and inconsistent food quality. Reviewers found the service slow and underwhelming, with small portions at not-so-bargain prices. In contrast, Romeo's Corner Cafe offered better food and coffee at a more affordable price. Despite some negative experiences, Features has also received praise for its cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. Overall, this small-town restaurant seems to have a mixed reputation, with some diners enjoying the hearty skillets and lively atmosphere, while others find the prices and wait times off-putting.

A smaller restaurant with a lunch counter where you can watch the kitchen staff. It is a very popular spot with great food and staff. If you are hoping for the soup of the day you should get there for an early lunch as it gets snapped up quickly. The service was terrific and the staff very personable. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Features:
Basic decor, pleasant environment, extensive menu, lots of hollandaise sauce, decent coffee, but way over-priced for what you get. My blueberry pancakes were overcooked, tough and short on berries. My husbands veggie scramble bowl was so flooded with hollandaise that he didn't even eat it. We went to Romeo's Corner Cafe the day before and had much better food and much better coffee for less. If you like waiting 20 minutes to sit at a sticky table before being served terrible coffee and waiting another 15 minutes to order before waiting another 20 minutes for your food, then look no further. Not only was it a slow experience, but the food was underwhelming. Surprisingly small portions of not very warm food at not such bargain prices. If you go for breakfast, the server will ask if you are ok with the beans. Unless you can't handle 3/4 of a tablespoon of baked beans, you'll be fine.In it's favour are the location and the varied menu. But there seem to be much better options around.
Great place for an easy bacon and eggs breakfast and coffee. Grill type atmosphere. I sat at the bar and could see that the preparation of food was done cleanly in the open kitchen. Good value. Small town atmosphere.
Cross the threshold of Feature's and enter a world of hustle, bustle and big welcoming smiles, a true old fashioned breakfast place. Breathe in the heavenly aroma of bacon and eggs, buttered toast and fresh coffee. Tuck into the light, flavourful skillets with home fries. Yum. Want real maple syrup with your French toast hot off the griddle...more coffee....another smile, no problem! Put off by a short wait for a table? Searching for the perfect 2% non-fat froth latte with a double mocha shot at exactly 160 degrees F? Be impatient and fussy elsewhere. Feature's is about having fun and eating a hearty breakfast with great service at a reasonable price. 'Nuff said!

The service is outstanding, the food is top-notch, and the portions are generous, all at affordable prices. The restaurant can get quite busy, so it's common to experience a short wait.
We had to wait more than thirty minutes for our breakfast, and three out of the four plates we received were lukewarm. The poached eggs didn't have the runny consistency we were hoping for. On the upside, our server was wonderfully kind and friendly, and the atmosphere was charming. I hope they can enhance their kitchen staff in the future.
This is the best breakfast spot in Stratford! The service was quick and friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the eggs and corned beef hash, and he claimed it was the best he's ever tasted. We will definitely be returning!
We waited about 20 to 30 minutes before being seated. The interior is rather plain and could use some character; while the large windows and brickwork are nice, the overall decor is a monotonous white and gray with limited decoration. The food, however, was fantastic and definitely worth the wait. I do wish they would upgrade their home fries; they’re the standard frozen diced variety you can find anywhere. Our waitress was excellent and friendly, and considering how busy it was, the food came out quickly. I would definitely visit again when I'm in the area, perhaps aiming for a weekday.

Great breakfast. There is a reason why there are line ups for this place. The best breakfast place in town. Very economical and great service.
We had an amazing breakfast—make that two! We enjoyed our breakfast selections for two consecutive days. The dining room was lively, and the friendly, efficient staff made our experience even better. If you're staying at one of the downtown hotels or bed and breakfasts, this place is a must-visit for brunch or lunch. We experienced very short wait times during the week, with a maximum of just ten minutes. After this experience, Features has become our favorite spot for breakfast in Stratford.
Delicious food, but a renovation is necessary. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is friendly, but the interior decor is in desperate need of an overhaul. The greasy tables and worn-out carpets can put off customers. Updating the furniture, knocking down a few walls, or even acquiring the neighboring space to expand capacity would be great ideas—especially since there are always long lines on Saturday mornings.
The Best for Breakfast!!. Love there breakfast!!! You cannot go wrong with anything!!!
