Had rump steak my wife beef and ale pie all was fantastic and service also top notch nice atmosphere very homely staff cannot do enough for you

Booked a table for Valentines evening, booked via the online booking and immediately received confirmation of the table. On the evening, when we arrived, we were taken to our table with the reservation showing our name. Our drinks were bought to the table and we ordered the food. My wife had a pie, mash and veg whilst I had the mixed grill. Both meals were very enjoyable and we were visited by the staff to make sure there were no problems with the meal. My wife had Eton Mess to follow. At no time during the evening did we ever feel under pressure to vacate the table despite the pub being busy. Thanks to all the staff for the good service and quality of the food. I would recommend this pub to visitors to the area as well as locals.

Once again amazing service. Attention to detail incredible. Fantastic food and welcoming atmosphere. Having had disappointing experiences at the Dirty Duck and Pen and Parchment, this is without doubt,the best Greene King pub in Stratford.

Great old world pub lunch . Service was fantastic we were kept attended to but not bothered and everything was quick but not rushed

The ‘Team’. Leader needs more training,she’s down right rude with a capital R. Food was average. My husband has been in a couple of times b4 and said the same woman is just **** rude!!! She needs to turn her frown upside down or find a new job
