Place is a bit tired. First thing I noticed : everything outside is covered in green mildew. Ok its winter, but you still notice it. Doormat at front door was crooked, tired with leaves and twigs all over it and area unswept. Not important you may think, but is sets the tone and gets my antennae working. The only place where you can see the meat supply chain directly to the shop. great brunchplatz in the sunny morning. good coffee, healthy, honest eating.

What a great discovery a beautiful coffee shop with home cooked meals, delicious cakes and super, efficient, friendly staff. the farm has a large selection of everything from fresh veg to delicious cheeses to in-house meat.
Excites to discover this quirky small kitchen café. we were met by super rustic wood decoration, a beautiful smiling reception and a menu that looked after for traditionists (the whole English and the more adventurous (kimchi toastie anyone)? there is really nowhere else completely like it – highly recommended! ps couldn't believe it when the waitress told me that you were farming served all the meat and showed us the cows again. so many places claim to provide ethical food in these days, but very few actually do. talton mill must be one of the most trusted places in this sight.
A wonderful farm shop selling fresh and local produce in a beautiful river side location, friendly staff and I can highly recommend trying homemade products from chef Lisa. Amazing and really worth a visit!!
