What phaine doesn't like about Greenery:
I was disappointed I believe this used to be called The Bakehouse Cafe and had very good reports. I met a friend for lunch there today a cold day with sleet in the air, and the interim of the cafe did little to shelter us from the elements it was cool and drafty! We have frequented this restaurant several times, both as a couple and with our grandchildren. It's a great spot for a light meal or a toastie. Conveniently located right across from Charlecote Park entrance, the staff is always pleasant and welcoming. The restaurant is never too crowded, so we've never had trouble finding a seat.
The staff is very pleasant and accommodating. They offer delicious light lunches as well as hearty Sunday roasts. Thank you, I will definitely be visiting this restaurant often.
I tried the one pot dish, which was a hearty soup served with bread. It was tasty and priced at around £5. While the menu is small, the food is fresh and suitable for children and vegetarians. Solo diners have the option to use a reserved sign to place their order easily.

It was poor value for money and really quite unwelcoming.
What a wonderful find! Highly recommended. I visited with friends, loved the coffee, and would loved to have stayed for lunch. Self service with original selection of home made cakes and very tasty looking savoury dishes, all with an unusual twist. The downside for some people might be that you do have to pay to get into the grounds of this National Trust property to access the Greenery Restaurant.
