What James wilson doesn't like about Espresso Barn:
Their baristas do not know how to make a cappuccino. They gave me a luke warm latte with no cappuccino froth whatsoever. I was also absolutely horrified to see them mopping the toilet floor then using the same mop to “clean” the floor of the cafe spreading faecal matter where people eat food a real health and safety hazard. Avoid .., View all feedback.

The last time we were here, this was a nice caffe nice coffee, very nice cake, very nice served. Today there was a lot of dead looking ending of gluten-free cake and not much else. the coffee was served in take tassen....I asked for a real cup and saucer and was told that they were short workers and that was what they did today. there were only a few more in the caffe and they had already been served and no one came while we were there, so a person could easily be done with washing a cup. we had to ask for the sugar and also for a spoon to stir it. the spoon was not exactly chained to the counter, but he could also have been as he was handed over grudgingly. no ambiente, very unpleasant place to sit with a coffee. we took tassen away and drank our coffee in the car. Although we love this place, the caffe is not one we will return to.
Often stop here on the bike tour. great coffee and best minze cake ever! personal friendly good choice of cake etc. also in these difficult times.
This caffe apparently visited a free day." surprising, unwilling polite girl. stale croissants and no ambiente at all. do not come back.
Great little coffee shop. Very friendly staff (the Barn receptionist ought to take lessons from these! Very rough, recycled furniture which works a treat. At present, presumably because of Covid, all drinks are in disposable cups and there are not any plates. Came as quite...a surprise to have our toasties delivered to table in white paper bags to split open and use as plates. Did not affect the taste though gorgeous. Coffee is roasted locally and beans can be purchased to take home.
