Absolutely the best. Fresh seafood great customer service. Inpeccably clean. Julia child said never go to a fish store that smells of fish. That wont happen at umberti's. I think she would approve

You get what you pay for—fresh fish is definitely worth buying from a specialty market. I’ve bought fish from local grocery stores and often had to complain or return it because it looked old or had been sitting out too long. Do yourself and your health a favor and seek out quality.

I have nothing negative to say about this place. It's charming and tidy, with excellent service, affordable prices, and a lovely selection of dishes. Although I haven’t dined in yet, as I've always opted for takeout, I recently ordered 100 littlenecks for Labor Day 2023 on short notice, and Kylie was incredibly helpful throughout the process.
