Oar Oak - Stratford

I heard Oar Oak had the best chicken sammies around. I?ve been wanting to try them for awhile. I finally did only to be let down. I ordered online, lots of items were listed out of stock. I picked up my order was greeted by 2 people at the counter.Very nice friendly. Got my food home it was meh. The chicken was very good I will give them that. Fries were gross.Cornbread was good, but I wasn?t a fan of the maple bacon jam on top. Too overpowering. I?m glad I checked this place off mybucket list, but won?t be going back.

Our office decided to get takeout for lunch on a random recommendation. I had the classic chicken sandwich. People ordered a few other types of sandwiches on the menu. The classic was amazing. It was a nicely portioned cut of chicken, deliciously seasonedand cooked. Everyone else loved their sandwich. Highly recommended.

Comfort food between 2 fresh buns, chicken is really juicy and some authentic menu items make this place our go to. The 69stingray or the Eddie Vedder sing sweet songs in my mouth.

Stopped in here for something quick. Chicken sandwich was alright. Almost positive that the Mac and cheese was Kraft, so that was disappointing.

Have been to oar and Oak restaurant twice and loved it…. First time ordering from oar and oak birdhouse and it was amazing
