In the old section of the city, but off the beaten path, Triangle has a comfortable atmosphere, and a nice buzz and feel. The menu had English translation, and there are specials on the board. Carnivores and vegetarians will have things to eat here, but the menu favors local meat dishes with very fresh ingredients. We ordered soups, fresh pasta with mushrooms, salads with chicken, local fish, and other items which were all quite good. The wine list is not huge but it covers the basics and is reasonable. Beer is certainly the drink to order. Tables are a bit close and the restaurant can be warm, but it is a good place to add to your list if in Salzburg. We had a reservation, which they honored. You can choose to sit outside, but be prepared for the smokers.
