It is difficult to find a good pizzeria in Strasbourg, and this restaurant is actually one of the only place serving more than decent pizzas! The selection is not huge, but they have a small selection of special pizzas, one being a very special one made from black wheat floor. It comes on your plate with a black dough, very surprising! They do pasta as well, that we have never tried, being used to eat only pizzas at t... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Le Pescara:
The food was ok although we were only able to order a pizza because at 13:30 they had already closed the kitchen and would only run the oven. The pizza itself was good under tourist standards. If you are looking for a real Italian pizza you'll be disappointed though. The prices are not too expensive: a pizza margherita costs 8 euros. The younger waiter was nice and attentive, the older seemed to be rather grumpy and a... View all feedback.
As another restaurant was busy me and my mother chose Le Pescara for dinner. From the beginning, everything was not like the rest of the friendly staff in Strassburg. We couldn't sit on the comfortable benches because they're only for four people we came in at 9:00 and 3 of them were free. Anyway about meals: Our appetizers were okay. Italian salad parmaham and tomatoes) and bruschetta. NOW! Don't get the beef as a main! its really bad quality and I could only ate the vegetables. My mother's pizza was edible, but not very special. As I said, beef was not good, they could not help with the price my proposal was to pay half the price 11€. That was NOT possible. TIP for you!! If you would like to have Italian food, please choose another, better restaurant as there is a lot in Strasbourg.
The food here was pleasant. Delicious and fresh. Great portion at a fair price. Very central and friendly staff. Thank you.
My wife had Grilled Gambas and she had 4 large shrimps and many spices on her plate, she was happy and so I was with my Grilled Beef Filet. With a liter of San Pellegrino and 1 Expresso bill came to 41 euros, very...resonable
A local restaurant in the centre of Strasbourg. Went for a pizza as recommended by a colleague and I was not disappointed at all. I had the chorizo which was delicious. We all had pizza and we all were very happy with what we got....I had the café gourmand which also went down well (a little tiramisu and little chocolate mousse). I will be back
