The pub is located in the cellar of the hotel which we visited in the evening. it is certainly very cozy when more visitors are there. at the time of our stay (18 o'clock) we were the only guests.
Fantastic personnel and a great atmosphere! Old but fresh interior, overall very cosy. For the sport interested, they were showing football when there was a game on.
Empty on a Sunday night, but pleasant and enjoyable for that. It is mainly a place for drinks with a short menu, but the very friendly bartender offered to let us order food from the main restaurant upstairs. Do not know if that is usual or because it was so quiet. Good and unusual menu that included rabbit and calf's liver plus the usual standards. The pub has the complete Stortebecker production in bottles and is a good place to try the range.
We stayed in the hotel upstairs and eat there once in a quiet night. mainly we wanted to get away from all fish restaurants. we had both the carving, freshly cooked, with a generous amount of carrots and salat. a good selection of... locals. can be more alive in the nights when they have live music.
Very beautiful and historical space that eat is priced for the quality offered in order, the service is friendly. For people who are not interested in fussball, however, not very attractive if there is no angle in the local, from which you cannot track the live-transmitting game (optical and acoustic).
