Bio-insel Stralsund

Great place if you like German old school bioplaces: they have some quite dry but beautiful pie slices and good hearty snacks like pizza rolls. attached is also a super market with many beautiful drinks and vegan food stores. one of the suppening to lunch is always vegan, the other is not (and in contrast to how this place is listed on happycow, can contain meat).

Open every day, straight at central train station; supermarket (including cosmetics), bakery, eatery, café (with outdoor seating) all in one; peaceful, very german 'bio ' place, not made for (neither from) hipsters, just plain and friendly oldschool 'bio '; food is excellent, people are friendly; inside, around 20 seats, same outside

Open 7 days a week and conveniently located right next to the main train station this organic supermarket/cafe offers daily changing menu with many vegan options. Breakfast can be veganized. Very tasty and good value for money. Very friendly staff. Nice interior and atmosphere.

The restaurant/cafe inside the shop closes around 5 pm, but i got a vegan pizza roll from the counter, which tasted delicious. They also had some vegan or glutenfree baked goods and breads.

We had a stop here on the way to fight and have brot, spreads and pizza roll. came back on the way back with a pizza roll and vegan cake. I was really happy to have such a simple access to vegan food near the train station. updated by previous review on 2021-06-30
