Well this was our first order…. Polite delivery driver… complementary poppadoms… vv hot food… heat wise… I ordered my main course as a mild garlic chicken balti… it was that spicy hot I couldn’t eat it. Such a shame and a waste of £8.

We use to come here when it was Herbs and Spices, it was always delicious and incredible value. I've tried here a few times since and not been impressed. Unfortunately where I now normally go wasn't open tonight so I thought I would give these another go. I wish I had gone to the local chippy instead. I've been eating curry's for the last 20+years and I have never had such a bad curry. I went for the Chicken Madras (who can get that wrong? , rice, chips and Naan. I've never not been able to finish off at least the chicken (that's the most expensive part . I ate 3 pieces and thought it was rather tough, cut into the 4th and it shattered!! I didn't even think chicken could shatter??. The rice and Naam was just about editable, that's the kindest remark I can make. All I will say is, it's worth spending the extra and go to Maliks or Spice of Lyefe, anywhere has to be better. AVOID!!

Ace takeaway. Always full of flavour and decent sized portions.
