A&W Restaurant - Stouffville

A and W in Stouffville is a good burger place. Burgers are great and is in a good location as there are many subdivisions surrounding it, and more to come. However, there are a few issues with this burger place. The staff doesn't really know much and they always seem very sleepy and like they don't care. Not friendly at all and barely said hi to us. WHen we sat down at one of the window seats, we noticed that there was a great amount of dust on the window ledge. This is very unappetizing. Food also took a long time and should of been very quick as there were four or five people here. I'm not sure if I'll be returning again, and much prefer Main Street Burger Shoppe if I'm seeking a quality burger.

We rally love the food here. For the most part, unlike McDonalds, it is hot and great tasting. However, they seem intent on playing crappy music when there should be NONE at ALL! and they keep the temperature like it is a walk in freezer! When you goto a place like this do you really go too listen to someone else's poor taste in music or do you go there to eat? BTW, Please your wash your windows inside and out or better still hire someone who knows how to do it properly!!!

Food is way over priced. Always have to park and wait after going through the drive through. For fast food its pretty slow.

A&W had the worst food amongst all the major chains until a couple of years ago...Things have gotten better, but their service hasn't improved...!!!Stopped for lunch and ended up with a nasty viral...!!!Yep, it's true...There was only 1 sever across the counter and she managed to get me to hate A&W with gusto...!!!We got 2 of the Mama combos...I asked for Ice Tea WITHOUT Ice, and got my mug with a handful of Ice Cubes...Went back and the server threw out the ice and refilled the jug with 4-6 Ice Cubes...!!!By now there was half a mile long lineup at the counter and still only 1 register open, so I plucked out the Ice Cubes myself...Food was fine, but the fries were filled only to half of their intended capacities...We were in a rush and I gulped down the drink on the way out, and I ended up swallowing ONE Ice Cube, only ONE...!!!It's been 5 days, and I've yet to cleanse myself of the nasty viral...!!!But for someone like me with a bad set of Tonsils, the damage was done...!!! It was a bad mistake setting foot inside an A&W, and it won't happen again in this lifetime...!!!

While at the restaurant to get some take out for dinner, there was a young man at the register who greet me with a smile. He appeared to be new and learning. Along side of him was a colleague Wayne who was operating the drive through and helping the young man waiting on me. They both were very friendly and Wayne was very patient and great with the young man. I placed my order and when it was ready, he checked everything. The burgers we ordered were hot, fresh and tasty and that was even after a 15 minute ride in the car. When fast food is exactly that most of the time, I found it refreshing that I was far from disappointed. Staff is always friendly when I go there. The dining room is clean and tidy. It unfortunately is stuck at the end of a mall all by itself and often driven by because people are busy or in a hurry to get home or forget about it. I usually drive by. Glad I stopped in this time though. Keep up the great work.
