Even though this is a chain restaurant, the lasagna was extra good from other BP's we have visited.

We both ordered a lasagna from a waitress who wasn't the least hesitant in taking our order within the one minute wait until she noticed us. we knew from instinct from that friendly and hospitable athmosphere, that the food was going to equal the great service that we were receiving from their friendly staff and we were right after all thelasagna was just right for our hungry taste buds! A fresh cheese topping layered with thick noodles juicy meat sauce and we'll be coming again for that great Boston Pizza hospitality service and food that can't be denied when rebuilding that hungry appetite fit for a couple in love, . . . with that invincible menu that will be waiting to embrace our business the next time around! The meals for the grandchildren were off the children's selection and they were happy with their meals but the server almost seemed apologetic for the pasta meals my wife and I received. If that is their idea of lasagna they should be embarrassed. No sauce on lasagna noodles and over baked in an oven. You can get better out of the supermarket freezer. The penne with supposedly Bolognese sauce lacked taste, meat and sauce and was once again over baked and dry. It was also over plated with 6 inch by 3/4 deep on a 9 inch square plate to give the appearance of a portion. It is pasta. For 20 dollars a person should leave well fed and the pasta should have filled the 9 inch plate. Save some money on cleaning dishes and apply it to portion size. My wife pleaded with me not to make an issue because the gc's had picked the restaurant so I resolved to leave a review which I only do when it is really bad or really good.

Only real complaint is the very tinny sound system blasting hard rock music. Our server graciously changed the music when asked to what sounded like new country. But still sounded terrible through that system.

Done with Stony Plain not the first one in my work place either. Is it Stony Plain location OR just your manager. Regardless I 'm done with Boston Pizza. As a paying customer, I do not need to be talked over or hung up on. Raina get some Customer Service courses!!!! You are not what I would call a Manager....sad. Used to deal with Boston since 1996 thanks to my last conversation with Raina (so called Manager never again FOR ANY LOCATION.

Still, it 's pretty much the same every time I visit, for the last decade or so. You get the 'franchise ' standard treatment. Which is generally good. Grub is decent, price is the usual these days. Eye watering I find but that 's the cost of living and no different to any other eatery/restaurant I 've visited in the last 18 months. They earned the 5 stars by honest elbow grease with a smile.

The service is also usually subpar. I drive to Spruce Grove if I’m needing to do BP. They have lots to work on before I’ll be back.
