Blake's Bakery - Stony Plain

Having been to the store in Shiplan Road before, I visited yesterday only to be greeted with rudeness and no customer service. I tried to complain but could not find any head office details on the website and no stores answer phones. A bit suspicious, I would say. Maybe keep clear if you want good customer service.

I have stopped here several times and have never been disappointed. A wide variety of baked goodies and both the cinnamon buns and the squares have all been excellent.

The garlic knots are delicious. scones were light and fluffy. mini rolls were lovely. service was very good.

My daughter and I have been going here on our weekly walks for over a year now and we have tried many bakery items including cookies, squares, pastries, scones, breakfast meat rolls, and bread. All are delicious and there are always new items to try. They have spoiled us for these goods and just blow the local grocery stores ' items away in terms of flavour, freshness and texture. Right now, for example, I cannot resist the chocolate thunder cookies, the wholewheat bread and the almond toffee bars. The service is always friendly and helpful. Going on our treat walks is the highlight of our week!

This is a nice local bakery with not a huge selection but what they make is always good. The staff are always pleasant and everyday they have specials so it is worth dropping in to check out the daily fair.
