Rose Hill Manor - Stonewall

We loved our choice of Rose Hill Retreat for a celebration of our 55th anniversary! It’s the perfect getaway...far enough out of town to feel like an escape, but easily accessible to Fredericksburg, wineries, great restaurants. The hill country views from the veranda are worth the trip...A great spot for the delicious breakfasts or a glass of wine in the evening. Amy is so easy to work with, she her husband have done a wonderful job as new owners of this special place. We can’t wait to return!

We just LOVED this place. Darling, comfy cottages and rooms. Amy Her husband take such good care of you. The breakfasts are amazing too. Everything is just lovely here. The fire pit is the place for star gazing. Thank you for a wonderful weekend. We will be back!

If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful, GORGEOUS place to stay, this is it. Amy is the new owner, and with her husband make you feel like you're their personal guests. We celebrated my parent's 50th wedding anniversary there and we were blown away with the surprises and attention that we were given. There is plenty of space for everyone and the rooms are stunning. Breakfast is in the dining room of the main house and delicious, generous portions. It's walking distance to a winery too! I can't wait to go back!! I wish I could give it 100 stars. : . I see old reviews from concerns with previous owners and ASSURE you none of that is the case now.

We so enjoyed our stay at Rose Hill Manor this weekend to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Our friends also joined us rented their own cottage. The views are spectacular, the accommodations were super clean, lovely comfortable and the breakfast outstanding! The location is close to the wineries that we like in the Stonewall Hye areas. The precautions taken for COVID were well done and we felt comfortable during our entire stay. Despite all the great reviews we read before going, Rose Hill Manor far exceeded our expectations. We will definitely return to this beautiful B B in the hill country. ?

Loved this place for a quick weekend getaway. It is far enough out to be very quiet but still close to town and wineries. Breakfast was great and I want to go back post Covid as I think it would be fun to interact and meet the other guests. We will be back, great trip.
