The food was absolutely delicious, as were the margaritas. The servers were all extremely friendly and helpful. I read in the local phone book that it was a local favorite, so we gave the restaurant a try. It looks a bit small from the outside, but once you get in, the space is large and well laid out. Alamo Area Hospitality Association hosted an event at Pico de Gallo and they did a FABULOUS job! The upstairs private space was spacious and set up perfectly for us upon arrival. We were greeted by their team and their Director of Training, Mario Moreno. He shared his story with our group and talked about the restaurants, his personal story, and the American dream. He was very engaging with our group and well respected by his team and peers. Miguel and Laura served us piping hot, delicious food with smiles on their faces. Bravo for a job well done!
It's good but for Mexican food I expected much more, they have very good, fast customer service.
Came here for a quick lunch from a meeting downtown. Servers are friendly. Food was great..
Our waiter was ok, just a little busy. Food is ALWAYS good. Atmosphere is great at any time of day or night.
We have been coming here for more than 40 years. Always wonderful. The enchiladas Tejanas are the best in San Antonio. Extensive menu and great bar. This is the sister restaurant to Mi Tierra. Here you get great service as a “local” not treated like a tourist.
