I can see why this place is so highly rated! Authentic Mexican cuisine, not tex mex. Absolutely delicious. Amazing presentation, quality of food, amazing service from our server Paco. Highly, highly recommend if you are in the mood for some of the best high quality authentic Mexican food north of the border. Party of 6, all had different meals, all had the best time. I'm not sure why people rated this place with 5 stars. The waiter thought it was more important to be talking to the people inside the kitchen than getting our food order. Another waiter had to tell him we were waiting before he decided to even take our drink order. Came here on a Friday for happy hour drinks and dinner. It was early, so wasn't crowded yet, but quickly filled up as the evening went on. Service was very fast and friendly. Server immediately came over to answer any questions about the menu and take drink orders.Ordered a few cocktails, Tacos de Canasta, and the salsa sampler while deciding on the main courses. Drinks were good with a good balance of sweet and alcohol. Tacos were a great appetizer and we're plenty to try with the different salsas. Salsas had a wide range of spice from no spice to extremely spicy.For the main courses, ordered Tacos Pulpo and the Chile Nogada. Finished off the meal with the Pastel de Campechana for dessert and the Carajillo for final drinks. I was equally impressed with all the menu items.Atmosphere was very lively with TV's with sports and a nice patio outside. Good food, service, and atmosphere made for an enjoyable experience.
Adventuresome diners, take note! Cuishe is inventive, delicious food from the interior of Mexico. Tonight there was a large and intricate Día de Los Muertos ofrenda, and there was Jorge. Jorge gave wonderful service outside on the patio. Make sure you arrive before 7 pm on weekdays for the great happy hour deals on mezcal!

The food was excellent as always and our server Paco took extra good care of us by bringing out a dessert to celebrate our marriage. Cuishe is one of my favorite restaurants in San Antonio. Food is always on point as well as the service.
Went here for lunch. Everyone was very nice and the food was amazing. We got tacos, a salsa sampler, guacamole, enchiladas, and a couple margaritas. Delicious.
