Chicken N Pickle- San Antonio

MILITARY DISCOUNT AWESOME atemosphere. The courts are plentiful, indoor and outdoor. The best court is the Texas court which is over to the side away from everyone. Plenty of tables to have a large family group watch while you play.The New 21 and over Holiday Hideaway rooftop Christmas themed area is awesome! I felt like I was trasported to a cozy mountain top ski resort. Definitely coming back with the adults for that.

Great FAMILY sports bar feel but with tons of cool places to eat, sir, drink. Pickle ball courts all over, of course, hence the name.Didn't have chicken but the burgers and beer selection were EXCELLENT and perfect service. Whoever is running this one--GREAT JOB!

Below was my 1st impression, However I had to revised this review for the following reasons:So this place states that it closes at 11pm but if u arrived after 10pm you CANNOT get any food bc they close their kitchen at 10pm. This is very disappointing especially since I made such a good review below. They need to update their hours and explain in detail what is available at certain time, so it won’t waste people time and gas. Unfortunately, I waste my time and gas coming here just to be told, “No, we cannot serve you.”#VeryDisappointedThe food was so amazing and delicious. The atmosphere was beautiful, fun, and light. The customer service was attractive and professional.I order the NKC Hot Chicken with a side of Sweet Potato Fries, a Grill Street Corn, a Grill Broccolini (Chef kiss). The chicken sandwich was crispy, buttery, with just the right amount of kick. The Sweet Potato Fries were also very crispy and flavorful. The Street Corn was so amazing, after one bit you won’t want to put it down. It was sweet and juicy, with a nice smoke taste. The Broccolini I am in love with. It literally taste like a juicy ribeye streak. It was so good it made me think of going vegan. As for as the drinks, I had 3 Grow a Pear. It was so delicious and sweet and it gave such a warm overall sensation that it tasted like Christmas under a Mistletoe with a lover or crush .This place is truly amazing and I will definitely come back anytime. Seriously… I I have plans to make this my go-to place for food and drink. It’s truly outstanding.Vegetarian options: Their Grill Broccolini is amazing and definitely Vegan friendly as well as their Grill Street Corn. Very tasty vegetables selection.

Best food ever!! And a relaxing atmosphere everything was great.

This was my first visit to a Chicken N Pickle. What a great venue! We stopped by for lunch and to check out the venue. Lots of players getting after it. The outdoor seating infrint of the stage was plentiful. I liked that they had both indoor and outdoor courts going. The restaurant was spacious and clean. I ordered the country fried chicken sandwich with fries. The chicken was superb, well cooked, and juicy. It was huge! The tots were hot, crunchy, and plentiful. Our server was attentive and very friendly. I highly recommend this place even if you are not playing pickleball.
