Savannah Shores Seafood Market

Not what I expected.. was disappointed the food was not good.

I love the food and the staff, the seafood pasta and jumbo shrimp have been my favorite. Now if I can get them to make some deviled eggs I would be their more often than I already do.

Being someone that is from the beach, I was really looking forward to summertime so that I can try new seafood places. This place left a lot to be desired.

Let's start with the pros: clean restaurant friendly/ helpful staff. The cons? There wasnt a whole lot of options to choose from. They even only had ONE small catfish in the store. The garlic crabs were good but the crabs were so small that they should've been thrown back in the ocean when they were caught. The crawfish?? Stay away! The crawfish tasted old and they were way overcooked! There's nothing worse than rubbery seafood. A tip for the workers...avoid re-steaming fresh seafood. It completely ruins the meat!! Maybe their dinner plates are good, but if you're looking for a new seafood market with variety I would suggest going somewhere else.
