I had Sunday lunch in the Lord Nelson with my parents. The food was lovely, beef was cooked to perfection, crispy roast potatoes, loads of gravy. A perfect Sunday roast in my opinion. Would have loved and stayed to listen to the live music but have to drive home!! Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Roast Beef View all feedback.

We were passing by and came across the beautiful village and had lunch at the pub. Delicious food, lovely pub and very friendly staff. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I've visited this pub several times and the staff have been unfailingly helpful and cheerful. Not fine dining, but good, hearty, tasty, generously portioned food. The sort of pub I might move house for someday just so I can live within walking distance. Speaking of which...walkers, dogs, kids, everybody welcome in this lovely village pub.
