It was to celebrate my birthday and my friends birthday. We had a wonderful day. Excellent food, great service, good wine plus music and sun

We had a lovely afternoon celebrating our wedding anniversary, food , service , and atmosphere was perfect

Visited Stoke Place for an afternoon tea n the King and Lamb restaurant with my husband. The food was nice and the staff were very friendly and professional. It was a very cold day for August so too cold to walk around the grounds wasnt wearing a coat. The restaurant was very different from the images shown on the website! I wouldn't say it was a purpose build restaurant just a dinning room. I dressed up as the king and lamb resturant looked quite up market. I felt very overdressed as all the other guests apart from one table were wearing shorts, t shirts and trainers!! I even overheard the group of girls saying that they had worn the wrong outfits Haha! It was for aftetnoon tea including service charge. I would of liked the offer of more sandwiches as pefer to lots of cakes but I know this option is not standard everywhere. The host was really friendly and quite funny to. He told us some history about tea. Overall I thought afternoon tea was very good

OMG, what a disappointment!Got shown to table.Given unpriced menu.Nothing for minuites, no drinks no appologies, no service of any kind.Got up and left.Would strongly not recommend

I’ve stayed at Stoke Place several times previously and follow their social media pages. Recently saw their post about Bottomless Brunch which piqued my interest. I was not disappointed, it’s great value for money and delicious. The drinks were flowing! It’s ideal to enjoy whilst catching up with friends or family. We had a fantastic time today and really enjoyed the food. My Wild Mushroom Fricassee was delicious, the chips were perfect and the Pannacotta dessert was heavenly! Service was totally on point. The decor in common areas has undergone a refurb since my previous visits and the place looks great. They’ve got good measures in place regarding too. Definitely book in a visit, you won’t be disappointed
