As a family of six, we felt very welcomed upon our arrival after making a reservation online. The carvery was delicious, and the meat portions were generous. All the sides were fresh, and there was a nice variety of desserts, including pasta. The staff were friendly and polite, making our visit even more enjoyable. The dessert menu featured a range of options, and we indulged in treacle sponge, brownie, and crumble. Each was delightful and homemade, with generous portions. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this place to others.

The food was enjoyable, especially since they noticed our (mostly) empty plates. As is often the case with carveries, the meats were a bit dry, indicating they could benefit from being refreshed more frequently. The serving utensils were also quite hot. However, we were very pleased with the rest of the food and the overall service.
