The portion sizes are a bit on the small sizes, carvery probably would have been better. The kids meals would suit someone 7 years and under.

Then, a woman immediately came to take the drinks order. The menu is reasonably priced, so I went for 12 spicy chicken wings for £9.99. They didn't look too bad, but it was like someone put a whole tube of sauce which had a pretty good flavour but was downgraded by the sheer heat in one spot of each wing. The chicken itself was nice, but it was like you were driving down the M1 but then it suddenly turned into a medieval track. If you don't like blue cheese, tough, you're gonna need it unless you are fond of your eyes closing unconsciously.

Doom bar is tastelessness and no other option. You’d think they’d get a few bottles in of a different brew.

I'm guessing he was from the kitchen as he wore black and had a beard. He was collecting empty dish of the server and I asked politely if anymore hashbrowns as the dish was empty he pretty much looked as if it was too much trouble for him and took the dish away, and then when I went up to get extra sausages he gave that same look at me as if i shouldntcget them. As someone who has worked in customer environment for 10 years I eould of expected at least a polite answer with a smile at least. Been here several times now and also the one in talke where I could not fault the politeness of staff the other day whilst i was there, which is a shame really that this one person has made me want to give a lower star review and not a 5 star as I gave to talke

We were asked t... read more We had made a reservation for the Boxing Day meal at this restaurant. Although our table was booked for 2:45, we arrived a little early at 2:30. We were asked to wait in the bar area until our table was ready. However, when we were finally seated, we were informed that there was no Boxing Day menu available. We were disappointed as we had already ordered bottomless drinks for our meal. The staff member did not apologize for the inconvenience, and we ended up leaving without any food or service. Overall, we were very unhappy with the experience and do not plan on returning to this restaurant again. Meal type: Dinner
