Beautiful location for hikes if the weather is good. We were lucky. The hotel has very small rooms no twin bed bud separate bed which are also not next to each other, but head to foot. The rooms are very noisy because of the wooden construction. There is no fridge in the room, very narrow bathroom. No WiFi. For a price per night of 2500 NOK we had much more expectations therefore I can give no more than 3 stars. Rest... View all feedback.
One of the greatest surprises of all time! we visited this jewel of a place to lunch on the way from bodø to rødøy. støtt brygge is located in the small fischerdorf støtt on the beautiful coast helgelandes. for hundreds of years støtt was a very important adpost. the restaurant gamelbutikken is located in the old beautiful business that back to 1878. eating (bacalao was super boiled and presented. the selected ripasso wine and the local beer from lofoten fits perfectly to eat. the cook makes everything from the floor and produces its own fish and boknafisk (hardened cadjau. the owner – eva different – lets them feel like home in a way that I have rarely experienced so far! in the second floor of the restaurant you will find the fascinating strata and hidden treasures of the history of the meløys as a fishing community and classic commercial center. there is also a large conference room. ask for a guide! this jewel of an orte offers a very unique experience for those who love great seafood. if you want to enjoy a very high standard dishes, very professionally prepared and served with friendly skills, this is the restaurant for them! respects Svein-Magne tunli from bergen, norway.

We booked 2 nights. For us was one night enough because the island is very small and you have seen evey thing in 1 day.
Fantastic hotel with a very cozy atmosphere. many history, great eating, quiet, authentic and friendly staff! visit the small museum in the second floor.
We were here one night and ate both dinner and breakfast. when booking a room, the breakfast is included and they are also automatically booked for dinner, although this is to be paid separately. super eating, not excellent, and a little pricy. the personal is friendly and service thanked that they are flexible to check-out time and let us stay for five more hours.
Støtt was a high point of our journey along helgelandskysten. our stay in støt – top by helgeland was charming, cozy, close to nature, personalized and a culinary joy. dinner mixed three courses in an extraordinary evening of good over two hours. jan, the cook in training, presented every dish with precision and style. jan suggested a German giant to go with our two fish dishes. the dried dorsch soup was mixed with speck and a ring of liquid truffle tasted the surface. the main course of the cod was covered with a bodily and criminal, so that the main ingredient a bit exotic or at least tasteful. cream cheese was a surprise for dessert, but if they are scattered with chocolate cookie crumbs, a puppy coat of vanilleeis and strawberries and blueberries around the globes, the combination was quite unforgettable and we would try ourselves. an ever-present twilight held the darkness in the bay on this wide short north of the arctic circle for a few months. after 22:00 the sun radiated with brillance to the west, and the mountains to the east bathed in a warm glamour on rocks and snow, which from the tip of the hotland and the etching more inexorable memories.
