Needed a fast place to eat seafood for Lent. I had the seafood trio tacos and my wife had lime shrimp tacos. The fish was tasty, especialy the blackened mahimahi. My wife said the shrimp were cooked correctly and tasted good however they were sort of small. We both liked the same used for the tacos. The service was adequate and the restaraunt was clean. What T W doesn't like about Rubio's Coastal Grill:
Shrimp made us sick, fish fry batter was old and bitter, ricewas old and mushy; amounts were small; salsa and chips were old. Was nearly $50 for 4 tacos, chips, and rice bowl. Rubio's used to be good, View all feedback.
Food was fresh aend tasty. Except for the corn tortillas could have been cooked,steamed,grilled more.
So disappointed! I used to LOVE their original fish tacos, but these were horrible. Messy and no flavor.I'll think twice about going back in the future.
FOOD WAS SOOOOOOOOOO NASTY!!! IT WAS COLD AND THE MANAGER WAS VERY RUDE TO MY WIFE. WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN.
