Great place to eat. The service is very friendly and always ask you if you need anything. The food is delicious for the amount your paying you do get a full plate of food. I highly recommend the Super Burrito, for 14 bucks you get a monster of a burrito. If your feeling more of a variety the one two or three item combinations are great especially with the handmade tortillas. Come on down and try this delicious food f... View all feedback.
What Allona Foster doesn't like about Las Palmas Mexican Restaurant Bar:
The service was fair , long wait periods in between contact with server and food ..after ordering a plate on the menu the server kept having to come back to say something was not available,,missing..or had to be changed from the previous changes .. the food was so so.. the consome was not really a memorable tasteful dish..the quessabirra was not very satisfying and my tostada was more lettuce and a lot of queso fresc... I waited half an hour for my tortillas and had to ask another waiter for them. When the bill came, I was charged the full $17.99 despite the waiter's earlier assurance about the price. When I asked him why I was charged the full amount, he completely denied saying that and gave me a lengthy explanation about not discounting orders when changes are made. When I inquired about the lack of effort in my salad, he remarked that they don’t specialize in salads. How difficult would it be to add a sprinkle of cheese or olives to the salad, especially since they use those ingredients in their taco salads? It’s frustrating—this is a restaurant; a little creativity wouldn’t hurt. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone. It’s clear that their priority isn’t customer satisfaction; they seem more focused on making money.
The service was average, with long waits between interactions with the server and the arrival of our food. After placing our order, the server repeatedly returned to inform us that certain items were unavailable or needed to be substituted due to previous changes. The food was just mediocre; the consome lacked any memorable flavor, the quessabirria was disappointing, and my tostada was mostly lettuce topped with a lot of queso fresco. Although it was a bit pricey, it was an overall decent experience.
This is a fantastic dining spot! The staff is incredibly friendly and always check in to see if you need anything. The food is absolutely delicious, and for the price, you definitely get a generous portion. I highly recommend the Super Burrito—it's a hefty meal for only $14! If you're in the mood for a variety, the one, two, or three-item combos are excellent, especially when paired with their handmade tortillas. Come on over and experience this amazing food for yourself!
