Gabarellys Stockton Steaks

After reading mostly positive reviews, I decided to stop by this restaurant to grab a cheesesteak on my way home from work. My order was ready in ten minutes and the staff was very friendly when I arrived. However, I was disappointed with the sandwich considering its $15 price tag. While the roll and meat were of good quality, the sandwich was extremely greasy and salty, making it difficult to finish more than a few bites. The roll absorbed a lot of grease and even the to-go container had excess grease at the bottom. Although I like to support small businesses, I don't think I will be returning to this restaurant.

I ordered a large tray of cheese steaks for the Super Bowl and was pleasantly surprised by the quality. These steaks were the closest thing to authentic Philly steaks that I have found in this area. Several guests at the party reached out to me after to ask where I got them from. The food definitely made up for the disappointment of the Birds losing the game. The service was for take-out.

Absolute best cheesesteak I’ve had!! We went for dinner and we’re blown away by the quality. Better than any cheesesteak we’ve had in Philly in years! They use quality ingredients and don’t short you on cheese. I got a traditional cheesesteak but they also have specials and really interesting/unique twists on the steak sandwich. We were very impressed by this restaurant. The meat in the cheesesteaks was cooked perfectly and the use of ribeye was both noticeable and delicious. We believe these cheesesteaks are even better than the ones we've had in Philadelphia! Our favorite was the steak frites French-style cheesesteak.
