El Pollo Loco - Stockton

Delicious food! The service was a bit slow today, but I have no complaints—everything was excellent!

I was thoroughly impressed by El Pollo Loco located on Trinity Parkway in Stockton, California. The staff who took our order were patient and friendly. We initially wanted to order the eight-piece chicken family meal, but they recommended the Family Festival special, which included the eight-piece chicken along with a salad, two sides, four churros, and tortillas. The chicken was tender and perfectly cooked. We also tried a chicken avocado burrito, which was enormous and delicious. The churros were as tasty as any I’ve had at upscale restaurants in major cities. The side salad was generous and included slices of avocado. When I requested extra salsa, plates, and utensils, the team gladly provided everything we needed. Our server recommended the macaroni box as one of the sides, and it was fantastic. We also enjoyed the pinto beans, which had a nice kick. The customer service was excellent—friendly and attentive. The hardworking staff made our experience enjoyable. The creamy avocado dressing was amazing. The restaurant is conveniently located in front of the Trinity Parkway shopping center, across from Target. If you're driving west on Eight Mile Road, turn left onto Trinity Parkway and then left at the second entrance to the shopping center. We were initially unsure of the location, which is at 10506 Trinity Parkway.

I had a very unpleasant experience with the service at this restaurant and won't be returning. I've never been interrupted while trying to discuss food allergies before. While I was attempting to remove two ingredients, the staff member cut me off and insisted that I needed to order a drink. This was both ridiculous and extremely rude.

Loves this place for lunch or dinner. It's all great. But please... bring the black beans back, please??

The thing is. I love buying el pollo loco food. However, I asked for my burrito to be more crunchy while it sat on the plancha. And my burrito came out just how the tortilla comes out the bag where it came from. I have never seen something so sad from repeating directions to getting something unsatisfactory.
