While the café's charming ambiance captivates visitors with views and cleanliness, the culinary offerings draw a mixed response. Highlights include a gluten-free menu and homemade scones. However, some dishes, like the lukewarm tea and frozen scones, leave room for improvement. Although patrons rave about the inviting atmosphere and personable staff, there’s a sense that it doesn’t fully match the quality of other local cafés. Overall, Pond View Café holds potential for a cozy visit.
A eckshop and a caffe with personal note. the personal knew their customers and we do everything they could do to make them happy. the coffee is great, a wonderful selection of hot and cold foods, homemade scenes and tee cakes. the location is great, with a view of the duck. recommend this place for a visit and a cuppa.
Beautiful wee coffee shop with tasty ice cream for hot days from norton ente pond
I can recommend the Sunday dinner and the whole homemade baking
First and foremost I would like to say the cafe is called POND VIEW NOT KINGS COFFEE. The staff were very friendly and the coffee excellent. We didn’t have to wait long to be served . I think this review should go under Pond View cafe not Kings coffee
Two lovely ladies were serving when we visited for the first time, and they tried their best, but this cafe simply did not match up with the other quality cafe experiences in the area. The view out over the duck pond was a plus, but everything else was a bit disappointing. The lemon Meringue hardly tasted of lemon. The fact that it is also a shop, and this detracted from the 'cafe experience ', did not help.
